Whenever we hear about strengthening our abs, the first thing that comes to mind is doing some form of crunch. Crunches are not always the best exercise as they can lead to bad posture, they create tension in the hips, and they just aren’t that effective. Instead of doing crunches, there are alternative exercises you can do to work your abs and hit those core muscles in the process.
The following exercises will help you achieve toned abs while not having to do any crunches! These exercises are designed to properly work your abs and should be performed at least 4 times per week to get the most out of them.
