It Only Takes 4 Minutes!

Time is a limited resource. We only have 24 hours in a day, and there are a lot of things we want to accomplish during this time. Most times, fitness takes a back seat to other priorities, which is unfortunate. Not getting your body moving for a least a few minutes a day can have serious consequences as we get older.

So what is one to do when there are only a few minutes of time to spare in a busy day, or when you just don’t feel like working out for 30 minutes?

The following workout only takes 4 minutes! You read correctly, 4 minutes.

This workout will get your heart pumping, increase your metabolism, and leave your body in fat-burning mode for most of the day. The best part is that all you need is your body weight and a yoga mat to perform this routine!

Equipment Needed:interval timer, yoga mat or soft surface

What to Do: Perform each exercise 20 seconds and rest 10 seconds after each. Complete the routine below twice. Repeat this workout 3-4 times per week on nonconsecutive days for optimal results.
